Dott's Box

Good morning everyone! I'm having a good day so far, and I hope you are too! Today Eunice, Raven, and I are going to finish Dott's box. We didn't make her an entirely new box. We just gave the old one a new structure and door. Like, the door used to be on the left of the front of the box, but now it's on the right. Why? Because Eunice's family kept tripping over the door. We also gave it a new roof. Oh, and a window. You see, the window used to be this little flap that you could open to see if Dott was in the box, but it was so small it didn't let enough light in. So, the roof used to be flat, but now it's angled up on either side and it has a strip of cardboard running flat down the middle. Because we cut the roof of the box in half, the ends wouldn't reach each other, so we had to do something, so we decided to make it like that. It kind of looks like a barn roof. And, we have a new window. Instead of there being a little tiny flap you can open, the entire left side of the roof is the flap! It's so cool. Today we're going to paint it, than maybe go swimming in Eunice's family's pool. I wish I had thought to take before and after picture's, BEFORE we cut the box up. Oh well, it's going to look awesome when it's done. I'm still in chapter two in my new book. It's just not working! But I am going to write some of it today, so maybe that will get me interested today. Have a great day!
