Good morning everyone! I know this post is later than I usually post, but I was working! You see, a while ago, before I even started this blog (probably like, late May early June) a HUGE tree limb from a tree in our backyard fell. I mean, GINORMOUS. Probably about forty or fifty feet long, and a LOT of branches wide. Then, a little while later (like, a month later) a large pine tree limb fell. But it wasn't nearly as large. Anyways my dad cut almost all of it up with a chainsaw, and my sister and I had to drag the limbs into the woods in our backyard. We own 7 and a half acres of land, and part of that is a lake, but most of it is woods. Oh, and the place I live in used to be a farm. Anyways we stopped when it got to hot. I looked online earlier and found out that an iPod Touch (4th generation) is $174 and I have $150. So, I asked my dad what I had to do to earn $24 and he said the limbs. Since it's cooler now, it's not that bad outside. So I used the wheelbarrow and dragged a LOT of them into the woods. And, I think I earned my iPod!!! I've been wanting one forever, and I also wanted bunk beds since my room is so small with a queen bed, so I had to choose. I decided the iPod. I wanted a 32 gb but it was a hundred dollars more, so I decided 8 gb. Now I'm sitting in the living room on the couch, (I just finished taking a shower) and I'm listening to Owl City Fireflies over YouTube. Oh! I forgot to say. I fell splat on my butt ice skating yesterday during lessons. I was trying to do a bunny hop and something went wrong (I think I stepped on my toe pick halfway again. That's how I broke my arm) and I fell on my butt. And I almost BROKE it. It hurt very badly, and it took me a long time to get off the ice. And it still hurts now actually. It scared my mom insanely bad. I brilliantly started doing lunges and spirals after lesson. Aren't I brilliant? Anyways after lesson we met my dad and sis for lunch, and my butt hurt so bad that no matter what position I was sitting in or standing, it hurt very badly. I lied down on my side in the car, and that was nice, but then even in that position it was hurting! My mom gave me some pain killer at the restaurant and it took a while to kick in, but once it did I felt a lot better. Now I'm pretty much laying on the couch and my butt is still hurting. But I'm okay! Well, that's pretty much all the news I have for today! Check back tomorrow for more news!
Love, Anna and Kate
